Anthony H. Fuller
Anthony Fuller was born in New York City, where he lives and works. He received an MFA from Bard College, New York, in 2008 and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York, in 2003. Honors include Bard MFA fellowships and scholarships. He recently received a masters in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts and he teaches visual art at a elementary and middle school in New York City. Group exhibitions include The Unseen Eye: photographs from the W.M. Hunt collection, "Lesser Brooklyn," at Hut, Hut, Hut, gallery, New York curated by Kent Mcguinness, 2010. American University Museum, "One Hour Photo", curated by Adam Good, Washington, DC, 2010. Last Day of Magic, an element of the 53rd Venice Biennale’s official satellite project “Détournement Venise, 2009;” Freeze Frame, Rush Arts Gallery (in conjunction with Scope Miami); White Lies, Black Noise, Rush Arts Gallery, New York; What Comes Naturally, Fake Estate, New York; Greater Brooklyn, CRG Gallery, New York; The Art + Commerce Festival of Emerging Photographers, Brooklyn, NY. Publications include Art Fag City featured artist for March 2011 curated by Guy Forget and a portfolio of Fuller’s photographs was published in Dear Dave magazine issue #5, accompanied by an essay on his work by Penelope Umbrico. His work is in W.M. Hunt's collection.
